What PupStep is, what it is not, and what we each agree to.
In plain words
- We record walks only while a walk is running.
- You choose, per shared walk, whether the start and end are shown.
- We never sell your data.
- Delete your account and data anytime from Account.
- Guardian is ₹299 a month, GST included, with 7 days to change your mind.
1. Who we are

By using PupStep you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or over to hold an account.
2. Using PupStep
PupStep records walks and shares reports. You bring the walker you already trust: PupStep does not supply, employ, screen, verify, background-check, rank or recommend walkers, and is not a party to whatever arrangement you have with yours.
You are responsible for who you give access to your pup, and for what you choose to share publicly.
3. What a report is
A report shows the information recorded during a walk. It is a record, not proof of safety, and a record can be incomplete without anyone doing anything wrong.
GPS is approximate. A phone loses signal in a lift, between buildings and under trees, and a route drawn from a weak signal can show a distance or a path that is not exactly what happened. Where a gap occurred we estimate across it and the report says so.
4. What we are not responsible for
PupStep is a record-keeping tool. We are not responsible for what happens to your pup on a walk, for anything a walker does or fails to do, or for a decision you make on the strength of a report. Those are between you and the person walking your pup.
We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or that every walk will record perfectly. Where the law allows us to limit what we owe you, our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that Indian law does not permit us to limit.
5. Walkers
PupStep is free for walkers. A walker records walks for the pups a parent has connected them to, and nothing else.
6. Guardian and payment
Guardian is ₹299 a month, GST included: ₹299 is the whole amount, with nothing added at checkout. Renewal is manual: nothing is charged automatically and no payment method is kept on file for a future charge.
7. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Account. Free reports continue for as long as you use PupStep.
We may suspend an account that is being used to harass someone, to misrepresent a walk, or to record a pup the account holder has no business recording. We will tell you why.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
